is it okay to fertilize the lawn in this time of the month?

my lawn has these yellow spots and looks kind of ugly, i want for it to look nice and green. what to do?

1. Depends on where you are located. I'm in zone 9 (San Antonio) and we fertilized the lawn 2 weeks ago. If you still have a chance of snow, I would wait.
2. Yes, I just got a quote to have mine done and I know my mother-in-law has already had hers done!!
3. Early to mid March is the perfect time, so you may be a little late, but not by much. I'd say definitely fertilize this weekend.
4. I'm zone 3/4 and we have a good chance of snow yet (I hope) and I have started fertilizing mine. If it does snow the melting snow just takes the fertilizer into the ground. It also is a good time to seed grass.
