How do I get rid of difficult weeds? I have these weeds in my backyard under an oak tree that have super deep, thick, tangled roots. I'm not sure what they are, but they have thick stalks and pointy leaves and hurt my feet to walk on them. I've tried digging with a pitchfork type tool, but it's just not effective. How can I train my dogs to weed my lawn? They are already natural grass pullers. I'd like to redirect them to just pull up the weeds. There are three different weed types that pop up in our lawn which I normally pull up by hand. (We don't use chemicals.) ;-)
What types of perrenials will cause skin irritations? I was gardening, and Ive got many varieties of plants. One of them gave me a terrible irritation on my arm and fingers. It is like a red rash,a nd its annoying. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I dotn have weeds so it is not poisonivy.
