I'm not sure when I should fertilize them with liquid fertilizer such as Miracle Grow. Also, how often and when do I use liquid fertilizer on annuals?
Tomato Fertilizer - Should I use a slow release AND liquid fertilizer? This year I added some slow release fertilizer (specifically made for tomatoes and vegetables) to the top 1 - 3 inches of the soil. Is this all I need to do for fertilzer this summer - or should I water with a liquid fertlizer occassionally as well? FYI - I am growing the tomatoes in containers

Can someone please educate me about Liquid Organic Fertilizer with universal essence? Can someone please educate me about Liquid Organic Fertilizer with universal essence? I want to know about the advantages and disadvantages, and the researches that can back them up. Where have these researches been done and in what countries is the fertilizer been used now. Is it better than the normal chemical fertilizers? I also want to know the countries around the world where this product is being used and the success rate.
I have developed a organic liquid fertilizer? It's made of water and part of another plant that I can't divulge. My fertilizer when poured on a plant ,with in 3-4 days, if not sooner the plant will turn really green and looks healthier. My mom die last March and I took one of the cut flowers (a rose) and put the rose stem in a pot of dirt (after I had put rooting mixture on it), the stem didn't do anything except set there but still alive for about 2 months, so I poured my solution on it and it started to grow in less than 2 week, leaves were sprouting, now it about 3 ft, and has spouted more growth from the dirt I haven't repotted it and its in a small pot, it would probably be bigger than it is. I watered other plants that looked like they were on their last root. and they perked up. How would I go about getting this on the market, and would you buy it if it was. I mean do you think it would sell, I'm not selling it now I'm just doing market research...and this does do what I said it's not what BC implied.....
Planted Tank: How essential is specialized undergravel substrate and/or liquid fertilizer? For a tank that will be heavily planted. Tank will be stocked with fish to a minimal-medium extent, heavily filtered and aerated, well lit. 5' x 20" x 20". And if anyone could please work out the volume of this tank for me, (I am too lazy to do math) I would appreciate it. And some more advanced/experienced Black Labeo and planted tank lore would earn extra points. I absolutely hate making mistakes when it comes to my fish. Cheers everyone!
where can i find liquid bamboo fertilizer? i do not really want to buy the fertilizer online. I would like to see if there are any local shops that sell bamboo plants and fertilizer. I am located near Harrisburg, PA.
Aquarium plants need liquid fertilizer? So I assume they die without it? When I get a live plant I should also get fertilizer too then, right? Will it harm the fish, and do they come in a small bottle (I'm running short on money after buying 3 different foods for my fish today) or big bottles only?
Flourish liquid fertilizer for my fish tank? I have a 42 gallon tropical tank with a couple of plants, I want to keep them alive so I researched and found flourish. But there's so many types of it, there's flourish excel, flourish nitrogen and many more. Which one is suitable for my tank? Thanks. Carrie

I've recently purchased POKON bonsai liquid fertilizer, and since the labels are in dutch I can't understand a single word. http://www.nebonsai.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=NEBG&Product_Code=Pokon&Category_Code=FERT Can someone give me instructions on how to use this liquid fertilizers?
Where might I obtain liquid cyanide other than fertilizer? Don't ask me why, don't tell me to get help, just answer the question or you'll be reported and blocked. Aadil, I'm fine. I'm not considering it in the near future, but things could change, and if things get really bad, then it might be for the best. Not as of now, no.
"Ortho Weed B Gone" Liquid Spray vs. Scotts Fertilizer with Plus 2 Weed Control to kill weeds? OKay so i'm going to be trying to kill the weeds in my yard soon. it is a newly planted tall fescue lawn. After i mow it 4 or 5 times i'll probably zap it. I've got what i believe to be mallow weed. so what would you reccommend an Ortho spray or a scotts weed control fertilizer? what are the pros and cons of each, and what'll do the trick the best? YES - i did put down scotts starter fertilizer, so i will make sure to wait at least 7 weeks before hitting it with anything else. the weed is fairly spread out through the whole yard. thick in a few spots and sparce in others, but it would be easier to use a granule probably. it could be harmful to increase the amount you spread right? cause that would be the only thing with scotts is that it probably wouldn't drop enough to come in contact with every single weed. is either one more dangerous to a new yard?
Aquarium Liquid Fertilizer? What is a good fertilizer for my aquarium's aquatic plants? I hear you can purchase liquid or substrate fertilizer- what are the pros and cons? I have Java Moss and some kind of rooted fern that I cannot name. My tank has a Betta and 3 ghost shrimp so far, but I'll be upgrading to Corys soon. Will Corys dig up substrate fertilizers?
Best lawn liquid fertilizer? Can anyone please advice me as to which is the best liquid lawn fertilizer? which one for spring and also which one for this time of year? Thank You :-)
whats better fertilizer or liquid plant food? which product would you recommend i get for my plants? A few of my plants in my tank have no more roots. I take my plants out occasionally and check the roots if any of them are brown and dead. A few of them had all brown and dead roots, and i ripped them all out of the plants. The plants have lived without the roots for a few weeks. I want to buy a product to help them grow.
why would my liquid fertilizer mix kill my plants? i have been gardening since i was a little girl with my mother, over 30 years. i have not changed the weak home-made 'formula' of liquid fertilizer concentrate, dish soap, and epsom salts we have always used in the hose-end sprayer, but this spring, the mix killed all my plants! this has NEVER happened to me before--why would this happen? ok, to add some details since some folks have answered... i haven't moved in over 20 years, it's all the same product from last year and everything grew fabulous last year, the hose-end sprayer seems to be working ok, and i sprayed in the morning when it was still cool and partly cloudy, and it was MiracleGro--there was a pinhole in the unopened bag...it got damp--could it have gone bad?
Do some aquarium plants not benefit from adding liquid fertilizers? I say that because I recently bought some Seachem Flourish from my LFS and it seems my Amazon Swords are doing worse than when I first started adding the fertilizer supplements. All my other aquarium plants(Water Onion, Cabomba, Anarchris-however u spell it, and Jungle Vals) benefit from it, except those.
What's in the liquid fertilizer sprayed onto yards by Scott's Lawncare? Any chemicals that bioaccumulate? I have several questions. 1. What are the chemical ingredients of this fertilizer? Is it dangerous to humans, like a pesticide? And do any of its constituents bioaccumulate in the human body and contribute to the overral chemical body burden, exacerbating chances of cancer, illness, dementia, etc? 2. How long does the chemical fertilizer stay active, after being sprayed? Ergo, what is the appropriate re-entry time? My dog walked through a yard that had been sprayed with it, about seven hours after treatment. Could the dog then track these chemicals back into my home, where they can get into my body and hurt me? 3. Does this stuff essentially absorb into the grass and make it toxic? If the next day, someone cut the grass, does this make the "fresh cut grass smell" poisonous and neurotoxic, when inhaled?

Could the smell presently engulfing the house be toxic? 4. Does this chemical soup spray contain any 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, or some other chemical constituent which does or might contain dioxins? 5. Are the chemicals capable of permeating through brick walls and glass? They were sprayed in front of my room. Can any of it faze through inside where I'm at, for me to inhale?
How often should I add liquid fertilizer? It doesn't say on the bottle. I have "Iron Enriched Plant Gro" For the instructions it says "5 ml (approx. 1 capful) per 10 U.S. gal (37.8 L) provides the ideal amount (0.3 mg/L) of iron." I did that on Friday which was the day I bought the fertilizer and plants. I have 2 java ferns and 1 hornwort in a 10 gallon tank. I don't have any fish in there yet though so I got the fertilizer to keep them alive until I did get fish.
liquid plant fertilizer? can you over dose on the fetilizer for my plants in my fish tank? like it says add once per week? would it be bad or would it help them to do once per day but not as much?

advantage to liquid herbacides and fertilizers as opposed to granular? I see many professional lawn companies hauling chemicals around in tanks in the back of their trucks and spraying the lawn and plants that way. I am use to spreading out granular fertlizer and pre-emergent and fertilizer. Is there any advantage to the way the "lawn professionals" do it by spraying out liquids from a hose and the way I do it by spreading out the Scotts brand of granular herbicides and fertilizers with a spreader?
lawn fertilizer and weed killers : granular vs. liquid? What is more effective....granular lawn fertilizer like Scott's or the stuff you spray with the bottle. The liquid stuff seems to be cheaper but it is messier and more of a nuisance. But is one better over the other ? I have used Scott's for years and I was wondering about them. I have never read any reviews comparing the differences.

Determining ppm of fertilizer? This is not solid, but liquid fertilizer. Here's a little of what the 'guaranteed analysis' says: N 10% Fe 0.10% Zn 0.05% etc.. for NPK and micro nutrients. net weight 5.3oz (150g) How would I know what my PPM is after I add some of this solution to water? Say.. I add 14 drops to 1 liter of water. How would I find ppm of the water? I don't need the answer, just how it's done.
What aquatic plant fertilizer is the best? Recently set up a new 28 gal tank. Waiting for the cycling to be done. In the mean time I am researching plants. Don't want the fake plastic kind, want to go with real. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good fertilizer to use? I would like to use liquid form. Thanks.
How to use compost on a mulched area? I had issues with cats and squirrels eating or pooping on all my flowers, so I decided to put landscaping fabric and mulch down around all my flowers. I now want to fertilize for the winter and don't know how to go about it. I bought compost for my newly planted peonies and have tons left over. If I can't fertilize with compost, can I use liquid fertilizer? I live in zone 5, have roses, clematis, peonies and two butterfly gardens. Thanks for any and all advice!

The leaves of my rose look like burned on the edges. Do you have any idea why? I have the rose into a pot next to the window. It is a lot of sun, but as I know it is ok for roses. I give water to my rose every second day. And lately I gave my rose some liquid fertilizer. I put the water together with the fertilizer into a tray and then I place the rose into that tray for 15 minutes each time. The question is what is causing my rose to have the leaves burned on the edges just like being burnt by fire? Can it be the sun? Or is it the fertilizer? And what should I do to prevent that happen to my lovely rose if it is not the sun or the fertilizer?
Lawn Fertilizer? I want to try a liquid lawn fertilizer. I've only used the granules but think I'd get better results with a spray on like you attatch to a hose. This is for my house, not a commercial application. I want to use this for my lawn, not a garden.
