Best fertilizer organic for house plants? I have been using organic fertilizer for months now and nothing seems to be greening up my leaves. I have gardenias, citrus trees and jasmine and the flowers are ubundant though. I have been all kinds of fish fertilizers and especially Neptunes Harvest and yet leaves are still light green to yellow. I have been told Organic is too low in nutrient for plants needs..What is the strongest Organic that fills all the house plants requirements for deep green leaves and flowers? I am tired of supplementing stuff like Epsom salt and others to hopefully think That it will help the organic not working for me.
Can switching to organic fertilizer kill plants? I just moved into a house with a lemon tree and some oleanders. I bought some organic fertilizer for them, but my boyfriend told me that switching from chemical to organic fertilizer can kill plants. Can you patent an organic fertilizer mixture? I am developing an organic soil fertilizer and would like to patent the final product. I know there are hundreds of articles on how to mix blood meal, bone meal, cottonseed meal and the like to come up with an organic soil mix. However, I am adding other products such as beneficial fungi and micro nutrients to the mix that, as best I can tell nobody else it. I am primarily interested in protecting the addition of the fungi and micro nutrients if I can. Is this legally possible?
organic pasture fertilizer with horses? I have a small field with pensacola bahai and argentina grass that has been growing for about 2 years without any livestock on it. I'm getting a horse soon and want to give the grass a jump start on growing before getting putting the horse on it. I'm planning on doing soil tests and then applying organic fertilizer. Has anyone ever done this and if so, did the grass do well?
Does fertilizer runnoff only occur with synthetic fertilizer and not organic fertilizer? If this is the case, then why is fertilizer runoff such a problem? Wouldn't farmers prefer organic to inorganic fertilizers, seeing as they have the equipment for it (cows, etc.,)? Also, are there other industries besides the farming industry that would have any need to use fertilizers in the ground? Is this what's causing the inorganic fertilizer runoff? Answers to my questions would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! Thanks in advance!

Should I compost worms or buy organic fertilizer? My friend thinks I should just buy a gallon of fertilizer for $45 than just composting worms in my worm bin. He said it takes too much effort for what you get when you can have a gallon that would last probably a year for a backyard garden.
Does Organic Fertilizer make my Lawn Greener? Can someone tell me if Organic Fertilizers will make my lawn greener than using chemical fertilizers such as Scotts brand? I just notice that the Organic Fertilizers values are so much lower and so i would think i would need to apply amounts of it over long periods for it to be noticeably the same as Scotts BUT i would imagine over time using a chemcial fertilizer like Scotts would destroy the pH value of my soil and i will have to use Lime to get it back into balance, while the organic i wil lnever have problems with pH and never any fertilizer burn
Organic Fertilizer for Hay Pastures? We're contemplating using organic fertlizier for our hay pastures this year, but we're wondering if anyone out there has used it, and how it worked for them. The fertilizer that we usually use is incredibly expensive, and it keeps costing more and more every year, so we're looking for effective, less expensive options. Obviously a seller will have a biased opinion about their product, so any opinions would be appreciated! They're pre-established pastures, and we run cows on them during the winter months, so there's already manure on them. We typically use 21-8-17 blend, but because of the cost, we're exploring other options. One option we've seen uses a fish and seaweed fertlizer, as well as other compounds to fertlize.
Is there a good organic fertilizer with crabgrass control? And if so, which is the best? I should mention, I'm not really looking nor am I totally able to create a completely "organic" lawn as I have neighbors and no control over what they use on their lawns (live in the suburbs). I have a baby and am simply attempting to minimize the chemicals he is exposed to were he to go crawling in the grass. I dunno about the hens...sounds like a great way to fertilize lawn but also a great way to encourage the spread of avian influenza
What makes a fertilizer organic vs non-organic? I think I know the answer to this but... I was looking at the Miracle-Gro lable and read a list of basic naturally occuring elements and chemical componds, stuff that you find in soil (Cu, Mn, Fe, B, N, P2O5, K2O). In essence these are not organic elements/compounds they are by definition inorganic, so why would using this product make my plants non-organic?

I have developed a organic liquid fertilizer? It's made of water and part of another plant that I can't divulge. My fertilizer when poured on a plant ,with in 3-4 days, if not sooner the plant will turn really green and looks healthier. My mom die last March and I took one of the cut flowers (a rose) and put the rose stem in a pot of dirt (after I had put rooting mixture on it), the stem didn't do anything except set there but still alive for about 2 months, so I poured my solution on it and it started to grow in less than 2 week, leaves were sprouting, now it about 3 ft, and has spouted more growth from the dirt I haven't repotted it and its in a small pot, it would probably be bigger than it is. I watered other plants that looked like they were on their last root. and they perked up. How would I go about getting this on the market, and would you buy it if it was. I mean do you think it would sell, I'm not selling it now I'm just doing market research...and this does do what I said it's not what BC implied.....
