How do you rate sodding your lawn versus Hydroseeding?

I need some information on hydroseeding my lawn.? I am looking to hydroseed my front and back yard. I need to know what I need to to do to the ground before I can hydroseed. Do I need to level it? Do I need to make it bare before they can spary? Any information would be helpful. I live in Utah if that helps.

Cost of hydroseeding for 12000 square foot new lawn? I want to put in lawn behind my house. I'm installing sprinklers for roughly a 150'x75' rectangle. In Modesto/Stockton area in California does anyone know how much it would cost to hydroseed the area? Google results gave me anywhere from 3 cents to 20 cents per sq ft., and I have the feeling location/seed type has some effect on the cost. Has anyone had this done?

How soon after hydroseeding can I use a 2-4D weedkiller? We were told to wait 2 months after hydroseeding before we use a 2-4D weed killer (either 2-4D or Scott's Weed n' Feed +2), but i'm at the 1 month mark and I've got goatheads and other weeds coming up that are very tough to get rid of. Will I hurt my lawn by using a 2-4D product this early on?

We have a new lawn and there is fungus spots all over it.. How do we treat it? Hello, I live on the Cape in MA. We had about 6 loads of soil put down and then an irrigation system put in place at the beginning of June. Hyroseeed cam next. The lawn is full of these slimy spots now with nothing growing. The lawn man says it is a fungus and he is planning on hydroseeding over them( there are many). What would you suggest be done? Thanks so much Donna"

Does the ground have to be very level, and free of rocks/sticks/twigs before we hydroseed? We moved into a new build, and we right now have a dirt lawn...ha ha. They are going to hydroseed, but the ground is very uneven and loaded with rocks, pebbles, sticks, etc! Should we do anything to prepare the ground before hydroseeding? We live in SW Pennsylvania. Thanks!

Has anyone ever used? A product on TV called patchperfect. Also Hydroseeding or Zoyza grass I can't get a nice lawn to grow and need help. I'm in New York and part of the lawn is in the shade
